They can save remarkable amount of money and time during their work. Flame cutting makes it possible to cut rough sheets from the thickness of 6 mm to 300 mm, plasma cutting provides the sheets that have the thickness of 2 – 20 mm.

The two technologies can be operated on the same equipment and by the replacement of the cutting head we can easily convert from one technology to the other. Industrial oxygen and pure propane are used for flame cutting, which provides first-class cut surface.

The help of plasma cutting allows the thermal cutting of corrosion-resistant steel, cast iron, copper, aluminium and their alloy.

In the case of plasma cutting there is no exothermic process, since the cut material does not get burnt in the oxygen. In the gap which is supposed to get cut, the intensive and immensely concentrated plasma arc smelts the metal, the kinetic energy of gas removes the metal out of the cut gap.
